What is Project Based Learning (PBL)?

You'll find reference to PBL throughout our listings.  PBL is a natural result of applying knowledge gained from class content to a wider context.  PBL is a method in which students acquire a deeper knowledge and gain understanding of skills by studying a broad question over an extended period of time.  Students develop this deeper understanding while also practicing critical thinking, creativity, and communication.  Knowledge and skills are demonstrated by creating a project to share their findings. You can find out more about our project requirements and how we support successful project creation.
